WHY should you Adopt?

Each year, approximately 6.3 Million companion animals enter U.S. Animal Shelters every year (3.1 million of those are dogs and 3.2 million are cats). While the number of dogs euthanized each year due to pet-overpopulation has declined in recent years, it is still too far too high.

The current number of DOGS euthanized due to pet overpopulation (for reasons other than to humanely end the irreparable suffering of the animal) is conservatively at 390,000 dogs every year (1,068 dogs PER DAY).  Source:  ASPCA.org
