Adoption Process
1. Download and Complete the Adoption Application.
2. Sign, Scan and Return to us. Applications should be saved in PDF format.
3. Phone interview.
4. Meet and Greet the Dog (or Dogs!).
5. Reference Check.
6. Sign Adoption Agreement and Take Your New Furry Family Member Home!
Please note that Adoption Applications that have been altered, modified, are incomplete, not signed, or contain false information will be automatically denied.
Adoption Application
The Fine Print - Akita Angels Reserves the Right To:
1. Request additional information - such as viewing a copy of your Rental/Lease Agreement, HOA's CC&R's with relation to "animals" and "breed ban" or "size restrictions", Homeowner’s Insurance Certificate, or contact any person you've listed/named on the Application.
2. To approve or deny an application, for any reason, at any time, and without any explanation. An incomplete application or application containing false information will result in an automatic denial.
3. To adopt or refuse adoption of any dog to any person or family at any time, for any reason, and without explanation.
4. To modify our Adoption Process, Adoption Application, or Adoption Agreement at any time, for any reason, and without explanation.
